(July 22, 2021) – After a quick break in the schedule last weekend, Dustin Strand will take the No. 71 Q&Z Plumbing & Heating Millenium SRT Modified to four races in four nights this weekend with the Advantage RV Mod Tour. Strand has raced eight times in the Modified during the 2021 season with wins at Arizona Speedway in January during the Wild West Shootout, and another in May at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks.
On that night in May, Strand also won the Late Model feature, and he’ll take the opportunity to double up again this Friday night as he’ll run both cars once again. Friday night is also an NLRA tour event at River Cities. The defending series champion will continue his pursuit of a fifth series championship. The week kicks off Thursday night at Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN where Strand won the 2010 points title in the WISSOTA Modified division. On Saturday night, Strand will head up to Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, MN where Strand won three Modified features during the 2020 season. The final night of action will be on Sunday night at Bemidji Speedway in Bemidji, MN and will serve as a bit of a homecoming for Strand, as the family called Bemidji home for many years.
